Some old photo's - and an interesting artist!

I realize when I want to show people pictures of the farm that I have almost no really good pictures on this blog that show the landscape. Here are two that my mom took in the 1950's that show the farm at its best. These come from an archive of several hundred of her old Kodachrome slides that I lovingly digitized over the last year. Its a wonderful photographic record of this place we all love!

These two views are looking northwest, towards the lake. You can see just miles and miles of the lake in the second picture. Today, it is much more overgrown, but you can still see the lake on a clear day.
