Villa Mir Looses Nessie

There are heavy hearts on the farm. Even as Villa Mir is bursting with the life of new leaves, mating turkeys, herds of deer and the sounds of tree frogs at night, the life of our dear Nessie has been extinguished.

Nessie was not yet a year old and was just starting to come into her training, loved going out to work with the tractor, and was enjoying getting to know the new chickens. But she loved to run and had adrenaline surges that her training couldn't over come. The lure of racing cars on Rt. 6 was a constant danger to Nessie and has claimed the lives of many beloved pets over the years, both on the farm and on neighboring properties.

Nessie will be remembered for her loving and playful nature, and I'll miss her constant companionship.
