September 17-23

The construction crews have a beautiful week of weather to work at Villa Mir Farm.  The leaves are just starting to turn, the days are warm and the nights are cool.  And the lake has been visible every day.  Then there have been the fringe benefits of apples, plums, peaches, grapes and blueberries for snacking on.  

Earlier this month when it was hot, Paul told the Amish workers they could take a dip in the pool after work.  They were very surprised to find out how cold it is and said to Paul in their Amish accent "You feel kinda different when you get out!"

Here's a link to recent photos.  The progress isn't as dramatic now that the outside frame is up, but it's fun to see the dormers take shape, the roof going on and the fireplace going back up!
